Silent Moonlit Farewell
Your words flowed like an hourglass's sand,
The more you spoke, the less you revealed.
Your actions whispered mysteries, a captivating wonder,
Your thoughts, feared like thunder's resounding peal,
But surrender was never an option for me.
You, distant as the stars, beyond my reach,
I yearned to teach, yet your light guided my way.
Ticking like a time bomb, I, the universe's sentinel,
Ironically, your solace grew when I was absent,
Between us, who truly gains, remains unclear.
I believed you needed saving, but you always saved the day,
Emotions tangled me, leaving me at a loss for words.
As I drew closer, you slipped further from my embrace,
Though lovers we became, protection waned, a bitter chase,
And in the end, you vanished from my life for good.
That was the final echo I heard, a void that scarred my soul,
I believed in your happiness, yet I knew it was a guise.
Now, my sanity crumbles, longing for an end to this strife,
Existing only deepens the guilt within my spirit's core.
If only I had known that our gaze at the moon,
Would mark the fading of our moonlit journey.
